Here, giving means more because donations from people like you make a difference in the lives of Real People…with Real Needs…through Real Faith. At MRC, we believe that a person’s quality of life shouldn’t be determined by the size of their bank account. Whether it’s an older adult with limited resources in need of care and community, or an employee experiencing an emergency, we feel compelled by our mission to stand in the gap for those in need.
For over 6 decades, generous donors have made it possible to uphold God’s call on this ministry to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love. Through the years, there have been a multitude of ways donors have linked arms with us to better secure the quality-of-life every elder deserves. We invite you to explore the various opportunities to give and discover first-hand how here, giving means more.

Savannah is a former employee and scholarship recipient at The Langford – completed a degree in psychology from Texas A&M and is now working towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) through Tarleton State University – employed as a Personal Banker with long-term plans for a career in agricultural and commercial lending.
“I am still so grateful to this day for the contributions that my Langford family was able to provide for me during my time at Texas A&M. The scholarship helped me tremendously in affording my education. Thankful is an understatement. . . . I always appreciated . . . [the] residents that expressed so much kindness and care towards me. Truly a blessing.”
Jacy is a former employee and scholarship recipient at The Langford in College Station – currently working toward her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Sam Houston State University.
“The way . . . [The Langford] residents are supporting students in their education is so inspiring and it meant so much to me to have their support. . . . I am so grateful to have been a part of the Langford family and am thankful for my time there. I hope they all realize how much they have impacted my life; if I could go back and change anything, I would have applied to work there sooner! I made so many happy memories and still cherish these today. I am sure my classmates are tired of hearing all the wonderful stories I share about The Langford.
Here, Giving Means More because your gifts change lives. Older adults in financial need have the peace of mind of knowing their future is secure even if they can’t pay the full amount for the care or services they receive. Employees facing financial hardship because of a crisis or emergency have a place to turn to receive a hand up in their time of need.
Communities grow and offer greater programs to meet the diverse and ever-changing demands of a growing older population. Donations from people like you make a difference in the lives of real people… with real needs…through real faith.
