Stevenson Oaks, currently under construction in Fort Worth, has recently named Kristi Baird as Executive Director. Kristi joins Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC) and its development partner Greystone after a lengthy and successful career in the hospitality industry. The bulk of her experience comes from 20 years with Marriott Hotels, most recently serving as Assistant General Manager for The Sinclair, a part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection and the first Smart Hotel in North America. Baird served on the pre-opening team at The Sinclair which allowed her to contribute to many aspects of how the hotel operates today such as design elements, service standards, and team culture.
“When you meet Kristi, it is clear that she has strong values such as integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence which are also MRC’s core values. We know she will do a great job delivering the standard of excellence in Fort Worth that Texans all across the state have come to expect from MRC. After 60 years of serving seniors, we are thrilled to open Stevenson Oaks and we are confident that we have the right leader at the helm,” explained Alan Brown, MRC’s President and CEO.
Baird is a graduate from the University of North Texas and is currently working to obtain an Assisted Living Certification as well. She joins the Stevenson Oaks sales team who has been conducting pre-sales for the property since 2018. The team has pre-sold approximately 132 of the Independent Living apartment homes to eager depositors who are looking forward to an early 2022 move-in date. Additionally, Stevenson Oaks will offer Assisted Living and Memory Support along with an array of services and amenities.
