“I always ask myself, “What would Jesus do?” and then the answer is simple. He would reach out and help.” - Alyce Anne Baggett, Chair, MRC Board of Directors
Today, there are over 100 older adults who call an MRC Community home who need help from people like you and me to ensure their on-going needs are met. Their financial resources are limited, so they rely on help from the MRC Covenant Fund to fill the gap between what they can pay on their own, and what their home and care actually cost.
Retired pastor, Tom Ramsey, shared that he made donations to the MRC Covenant Fund through a men’s program back in the 1980’s and at the time, had no idea he would ever need assistance from the Fund. In recent years, however, gifts from people like you have made it possible for him to move into an MRC community where he has found friendship and a new outlook on life. “Instead of just living until I die, I’m looking forward to life.” - Tom Ramsey, Retired Pastor and MRC PineCrest resident
The Apostle John, encourages us in 1 John 3:18 to put action to our words when he says, “Let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show our love by our actions.” (NLT) Please take action, today. Your gifts to the Covenant Fund provide each older adult in need a comfortable home, good meals and compassionate care.
